Welcome to Estonia!

The Estonian Society of Nephrology in cooperation with the European Renal Association-European Dialysis and Transplant Association, the International Society of Nephrology and the University of Tartu hosts the XI Baltic Conference of Baltic Societies of Nephrology, celebrating 20 years from the first conference held in 1992 in Riga. It is a great pleasure to welcome you to Tartu, an old university town and a city of youth with proud Hanseatic past, in September 2012.
The conference venues are located in the heart of Tartu. The conference provides up-to-date information on nephrology practice through lectures, symposia, free communications and a poster session. We aim to offer a great opportunity for Baltic colleagues to discuss the latest findings in clinical practice and develop international cooperation. It is crucial for us to use the Biannual Baltic Meetings for the reflection and discussion on how to strengthen practical ties in the fields of mutual interests among the members of Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian Nephrology Societies. The coming conference promises to be thought provoking and challenging and we look forward to the lively debate this should generate.
